1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
LynnwoodPreowned.com (the “Site”) is owned and operated by ADZAM, INC., a Washington INC doing business as Lynnwood Preowned (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Dealership”). Lynnwood Preowned is the pre-owned vehicle sales operation of the Doug’s Auto group of dealerships located in Lynnwood, Washington.
Our physical address is 20700 Hwy 99, Lynnwood, WA 98026.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and disclose it, and what choices and rights you have. It applies to the Site and to any online forms, chat tools, text messaging programs, and applications that link to this Policy.
This Policy does not cover:
- Information collected offline at our dealership locations, except where it is combined with Site data.
- Information governed by our Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) financial privacy notice. See Section 9 — GLBA-regulated information is subject to that notice, not to the state privacy rights described in Section 12.
- Third-party websites, including manufacturer sites, lender sites, and vehicle history report providers. See Section 17.

3.1 Sensitive Personal Information
We collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and financial account information only in connection with a credit application, a vehicle purchase or lease transaction, a test drive, or an employment application. We do not collect this information through general browsing of the Site.
We use and disclose sensitive personal information only for the purposes permitted under applicable law without an opt-out — namely, performing the services you requested, verifying identity, detecting security incidents and fraud, complying with law, and other purposes reasonably necessary and proportionate to those activities. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
3.2 Sources of Information
We obtain personal information from:
- You directly — forms, chat, phone, text, email, credit applications, in-person visits.
- Automatically from your device — cookies, Google Analytics tags when permitted, and server logs. See Section 5.
- Our affiliated dealerships — including Doug’s Lynnwood Mazda and Doug’s Hyundai of Lynnwood, whose inventory feeds populate this Site and which share customer records with us as affiliates.
- Service providers and vendors — CRM, website, chat, digital retailing, communications, and analytics platforms acting on our behalf.
- Third-party data sources — consumer reporting agencies, lenders and lessors, vehicle history report providers, manufacturers, DMV and title records, third-party lead providers and automotive marketplaces, and data enrichment or analytics providers.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for these business and commercial purposes:
- Responding to your inquiries, quote requests, and appointment requests.
- Presenting, pricing, reserving, selling, leasing, financing, delivering, and servicing vehicles.
- Evaluating trade-in vehicles and preparing offers.
- Processing credit applications and transmitting them to lenders and lessors.
- Complying with federal and state vehicle sales, titling, registration, emissions, safety-recall, anti-money-laundering, and tax requirements.
- Operating, securing, debugging, and improving the Site, including our AI-powered inventory search.
- Measuring Site traffic and improving Site usability through optional analytics.
- Delivering marketing communications by email, telephone, text message, and postal mail, subject to your consent and opt-out rights.
- Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraud, security incidents, and illegal activity.
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
- Evaluating employment applications.
- Effecting a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We will not use personal information for a materially different purpose without providing notice.
5. Cookies and Analytics
5.1 Technologies We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (security, load balancing, session state, saving your privacy choices). These cannot be disabled through our preference tool.
- Analytics cookies and tags — Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, is used only for internal traffic measurement and Site improvement. Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google advertising user-data consent remain disabled. Information about Google’s privacy practices and opt-out tools is available at
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sitesandhttps://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5.2 Managing Cookies
You can manage most cookies through:
- Your browser settings, which can be set to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working.
Where applicable law requires prior consent, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics remain unloaded unless you allow analytics. In other regions, analytics may start by default for internal measurement; use your browser controls or contact compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com with a privacy question. Rejecting analytics does not limit Site functions.
5.3 Global Privacy Control
We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal transmitted by your browser or device. We do not use the Site’s analytics system to sell personal information or for cross-context behavioral advertising, and advertising, sale, and sharing consent signals remain disabled. Because GPC is browser- and device-specific, you should enable it on each browser and device you use.
6. Call Recording and Live Chat — Washington Consent Notice
Washington is a two-party (all-party) consent state under RCW 9.73.030. We provide the following notice so that your continued use constitutes consent.
- Telephone calls. Telephone calls to and from our sales, service, parts, finance, and business development departments may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping purposes. You will be notified at the beginning of the call. If you do not consent to being recorded, tell the representative and we will either stop the recording or continue the conversation in person or in writing.
- Live chat and text messaging. Chat sessions and SMS/MMS conversations conducted through the Site are logged and retained. Chat may be handled by an automated agent, a third-party service provider, or a Dealership employee.
By initiating a chat or continuing a telephone call after the recording notice, you consent to the recording or logging described in this Section. If you do not consent, do not use the Site’s chat features and please conduct your business with us in person or by postal mail.
7. Telephone Calls and Text Messages
7.1 Consent
When you provide your telephone number on a Site form and check the applicable consent box, you provide prior express written consent for ADZAM, INC. and its affiliated dealerships to contact you at that number — including on a mobile number — using automatic telephone dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice messages, and SMS/MMS text messages, for marketing and transactional purposes.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase, lease, financing, or service. You may decline consent and still contact us or transact with us by telephone, email, or in person.
7.2 Rates, Frequency, and Opt-Out
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help or STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from that program. You may revoke consent at any time by any reasonable means, including by replying STOP, telling a representative during a call, or emailing compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com. We will honor revocation within the time required by applicable law.
Revoking consent for marketing messages does not stop transactional messages relating to a pending transaction, an appointment you scheduled, or a safety recall.
7.3 Numbers Obtained from Third Parties
If we obtain your telephone number from a third-party lead provider or automotive marketplace, we rely on that provider’s representation that you consented to be contacted. If you believe you were contacted without consent, email compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com and we will add your number to our internal do-not-call list.
We maintain an internal do-not-call list and honor the National Do Not Call Registry as required by law.
8. Disclosure of Personal Information
8.1 Categories of Recipients
We disclose personal information to the following categories of third parties:
| Recipient category | Examples | Categories disclosed |
|---|---|---|
| Affiliated dealerships | Doug’s Lynnwood Mazda, Doug’s Hyundai of Lynnwood, and other commonly owned entities | All categories in Section 3 |
| Service providers and contractors | Website host, CRM, chat vendors, email/SMS platforms, digital retailing tools, IT and security providers | All categories in Section 3 |
| Lenders, lessors, and finance sources | Banks, credit unions, captive finance companies | Identifiers, customer records, financial and employment information, SSN |
| Consumer reporting agencies | Equifax, Experian, TransUnion and specialty agencies | Identifiers, SSN, credit application data |
| Analytics provider | Google Analytics, acting as a service provider for internal traffic measurement | Device identifiers, internet activity, and approximate geolocation when analytics is permitted |
| Manufacturers and warranty administrators | For warranty registration, safety recalls, customer satisfaction surveys | Identifiers, commercial information (VIN) |
| Insurance, title, registration, and DMV service providers | — | Identifiers, customer records, commercial information |
| Professional advisors and government | Attorneys, accountants, auditors, law enforcement, regulators, courts | As required |
| Acquirers | In a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or asset sale | All categories in Section 3 |
We require service providers and contractors to process personal information only on our documented instructions and prohibit them from selling it or retaining it for their own purposes.
8.2 No Sale or Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use the Site’s analytics system for targeted advertising or profiling. Google Analytics receives data only as an analytics service provider for the internal purposes described in Section 5 and is subject to our consent controls. We do not sell or share sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
8.3 How to Opt Out
Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no such processing to opt out of. You may still send any sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising concern to compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com. We will honor applicable opt-out rights and Global Privacy Control signals and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
9. GLBA Financial Privacy Notice
Because we regularly arrange, negotiate, or offer vehicle financing and leasing, we are a “financial institution” under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), 15 U.S.C. § 6801 et seq., and the FTC’s Privacy of Consumer Financial Information Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 313. This Section is our privacy notice for nonpublic personal information (“NPI”) we collect in connection with financing, leasing, and other financial products and services.
Important: Information covered by GLBA is exempt from the state consumer privacy rights described in Section 12. Requests to access or delete GLBA-covered information will be handled under this Section and applicable federal and state financial-privacy law, not under the CCPA or similar statutes.
9.1 What We Do With Your Personal Financial Information
Why? Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information.
What? The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include:
- Social Security number and income
- Account balances and payment history
- Credit history and credit scores
- Employment information, assets, and transaction history
How? All financial companies need to share customers’ personal information to run their everyday business. Below we list the reasons financial companies can share their customers’ personal information, whether we share, and whether you can limit that sharing.
| Reasons we can share your personal information | Do we share? | Can you limit this sharing? |
|---|---|---|
| For our everyday business purposes — such as to process your transactions, maintain your account(s), respond to court orders and legal investigations, or report to credit bureaus | Yes | No |
| For our marketing purposes — to offer our products and services to you | Yes | No |
| For joint marketing with other financial companies | Yes | No |
| For our affiliates’ everyday business purposes — information about your transactions and experiences | Yes | No |
| For our affiliates’ everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness | No | Yes |
| For our affiliates to market to you | No | Yes |
| For nonaffiliates to market to you | No | Yes |
To limit our sharing: Call (425) 774-3551 or email compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com. Please note that if you are a new customer, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice. However, you can contact us at any time to limit our sharing.
Questions? Call (425) 774-3551 or email compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com.
9.2 Who We Are and How We Protect Your Information
Who is providing this notice? ADZAM, INC. d/b/a Lynnwood Preowned, and our affiliated dealerships identified in Section 3.2.
How do we protect your personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law, including the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 314). These measures include computer safeguards, encryption of NPI in transit and at rest, access controls and multi-factor authentication, secured files and buildings, employee training, vendor oversight, and a written information security program administered by a designated qualified individual.
How do we collect your personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you apply for financing or a lease, give us your income information, provide employment information, give us your contact information, or show your driver’s license. We also collect your personal information from others, including credit bureaus, affiliates, and other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only (i) sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness; (ii) affiliates from using your information to market to you; and (iii) sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you. State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
9.3 Red Flags and Safeguards
We maintain an Identity Theft Prevention Program under the FTC Red Flags Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 681) and an information security program under the FTC Safeguards Rule. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com immediately.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
| Information type | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Website analytics identifiers and events | Up to 14 months, or the Google Analytics property setting, whichever is shorter |
| Live chat transcripts | Up to 24 months |
| Call recordings | Up to 12 months |
| Lead and inquiry records (no transaction) | Up to 36 months from last contact |
| Deal jackets, credit applications, and transaction records | As required by federal and Washington law — generally not less than five (5) years, and longer where required by the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Truth in Lending Act, IRS rules, and Washington Department of Licensing requirements |
| Marketing suppression and do-not-call records | Indefinitely, so that we can continue to honor your opt-out |
We may retain information longer where necessary to comply with a legal hold, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements.
11. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, as described in Section 9.2.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not transmit Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or financial account numbers to us by unsecured email or text message. Use our secure credit application or provide the information in person.
If we experience a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by RCW 19.255.010 and other applicable law.
12. Your Privacy Rights
The rights available to you depend on where you live. These rights do not apply to information covered by the GLBA notice in Section 9, or to information exempt under the Fair Credit Reporting Act or the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act.
12.1 Rights We Extend to All Site Visitors
Regardless of your state of residence, you may ask us to:
- Know what categories of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
- Access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, of targeted advertising, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
- Opt out of marketing emails, telephone calls, and text messages.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
12.2 California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the rights above, plus the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (see Section 3.1 — we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right), and the right to designate an authorized agent. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83) permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; submit such requests to compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com.
Metrics regarding requests received and processed are available upon request.
12.3 Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia
Residents of these states have the rights described in Section 12.1 to the extent provided by their state law, and additionally the right to appeal our denial of a request. See Section 13.4.
Oregon residents may additionally request a list of the specific third parties — not merely categories — to which we have disclosed personal information.
12.4 Nevada
Nevada residents may direct us not to sell certain covered information for monetary consideration. We do not currently engage in such sales. Submit requests to compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com.
12.5 Sensitive Data and Consent
Where required by state law, we obtain your consent before processing sensitive data, and we do not process the sensitive data of a known minor without the consent required by law.
12.6 Profiling and Automated Decision-Making
Our AI-powered inventory search interprets your query in order to filter and rank vehicles. This does not produce a legal or similarly significant effect. We do not make automated credit decisions — credit decisions are made by lenders and lessors under their own policies, and adverse action notices come from them.
12.7 Washington My Health My Data Act
Washington’s My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) regulates “consumer health data,” which is defined broadly enough to include information about a person’s physical or mental health status, bodily functions, or use of health-related products — including, potentially, information about a mobility limitation or disability shared in the course of shopping for a vehicle.
We do not intentionally collect consumer health data through this Site. Our forms do not ask about health, disability, or mobility status. If you voluntarily disclose such information in a free-text field, a chat, or a telephone call, we use it only to respond to your specific request and do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
13. How to Exercise Your Rights
13.1 Submitting a Request
- Email: compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com
- Telephone: (425) 774-3551
- Mail: Privacy Requests, ADZAM, INC., 20700 Hwy 99, Lynnwood, WA 98026
Opt-out requests may also be submitted by email, or via a Global Privacy Control signal, without any verification.
13.2 Verification
To protect your information, we must verify your identity before fulfilling access, correction, or deletion requests. We will typically ask you to confirm data points already in our records — for example, the email address or telephone number associated with your inquiry, or details of a transaction. For requests involving sensitive personal information, we may require additional verification. We will not ask you to create an account, and we will not use verification information for any other purpose.
13.3 Timing
We will acknowledge receipt within ten (10) business days and respond within forty-five (45) days. We may extend this period once by an additional forty-five (45) days where reasonably necessary, and will notify you of the extension and the reason.
13.4 Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond within forty-five (45) days with a written explanation. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint or the attorney general of your state of residence.
13.5 Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written, signed permission from you, verification of your identity, and confirmation directly from you that you authorized the agent, unless the agent provides a valid power of attorney.
14. Children
The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com.
15. Employment Applicants and Job Seekers
If you apply for employment through the Site, we collect and use your information for recruiting, evaluation, and employment purposes, and retain it as required by law. California applicants have rights under the CCPA with respect to this information. Contact compliance@lynnwoodpreowned.com for the applicant-specific notice.
16. Do Not Track
Browsers may transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no industry-accepted standard for how to respond to them, and we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 5.3.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site links to third-party websites and embeds third-party services, including manufacturer sites, lender application portals, vehicle history report providers, financing calculators, mapping services, and review platforms. We do not control these third parties, and their collection and use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We encourage you to read them.
18. Visitors Outside the United States
The Site is controlled and operated from the United States and is intended for United States residents. We make no representation that the Site or our practices comply with the laws of any other country. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and consent to the transfer of your information to, and processing in, the United States.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be posted at least ten (10) days before they take effect, and a revised Policy will apply only to information collected after its effective date. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent to material changes.
